The thrill isn’t over.
Netflix has unveiled the extended version of Outside’s main key art, showcasing an even more disturbing image of what Francis (Sid Lucero) is actually “burying” in the previously released poster for the film–the Abel family having dinner inside the now-iconic mansion from the streaming giant’s first Filipino zombie and psychological thriller.
The picture effectively captures director Carlo Ledesma’s vision for the film: put front and center how unaddressed generational trauma impacts families, particularly when the cycle remains unbroken–a “horror” even more pervasive than the undead.
Since its launch last week, October 17, Outside is the most watched film in the Philippines, remaining in the top spot for three consecutive days. Similarly, it has made its way to the Top 10 lists in several other countries including Hong Kong (Top 1), Indonesia (Top 3), Thailand (Top 4), and India (Top 9). The global title has enhanced the viewing experience with international subtitles and dubbed versions, making it more accessible to a broader audience.
