Arci Muñoz and JC Santos Dare To Go Beyond The Limits in Black Sheep and T-Rex Entertainment's Open

Are you willing to go open in order to stay close? That is the intriguing question that resonated to those who have seen the trailer of Open when it was released online. The first collaboration between Black Sheep and T-Rex Entertainment, the film brings a modern romance to the big screen as part of the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2019.

Opens is directed by Andoy Ranay, hist latest work start after the iWant Original Series Call Me Tita. Ranay brings together JC Santos and Arci Muñoz for the first time in a film. The two has been long-time friends after working together during their early days as part of a theater group at the University of the Philippines. The film was written by Wanggo Gallaga (Sonata), Dwein Baltazar (Oda Sa Wala) and Katherine Labayan (Exes Baggage) in order to capture the real and rawness of relationships through the lens of all genders.

In the film, Muñoz and Santos will play Rome and Ethan, a couple who have been together for 14 years. He is the love of her life, and she is his number one supporter. They are each other's firsts and to their friends, they are the perfect couple. When the two begin to feel that their relationship has gone tale, they explore the idea of going open. It's something Ethan wants to do, and it's the only way Rome feels she can keep her man.

They agree that they are allowed to have sex with strangers, but they are not allowed to fall in love. In a relationship built over time, the two begin to 'explore' expecting to salvage the exact same thing they are giving up.
