Its a one of a kind experience to watch a theater play musical of one of the great films made in 1970's. The set design, original songs, choreography and performances are on point. Douglas Nierras' spectacular and beautiful choreography are pleasant to watch. I really love the songs and the interpretation that they did that gave a new face to a masterpiece film, Maynila Sa Kuko Ng Mga Liwanag. The talent showcased by the performers should not be missed from their acting, singing and dancing. Their energy and stamina are impressive especially Arman Ferrer who portray Julio Madiaga who is consistent from his performance. I love his posture and his awesome powerful voice. Aicelle Santos is also to watch out for, with her effortless astounding singing prowess and moving performance. I'm so amazed from start to finish on this must watch local theater musical play of the season.
