Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga Reunite In The Film Last Night


For the first time Bb. Joyce Bernal will direct the well loved team up of Piolo and Toni. Bernal last directed Piolo in the romantic-comedy Paano Kita Iibigin in 2007 where he starred opposite Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez. Toni on the other hand, first worked with Bernal in 2005 in the comedy-horror film D' Anothers. Last Night is also Piolo's and Toni's reunion move after their Valentine blockbuster hit "Starting Over Again".

It should be noted that Last Night, aside from being her reunion rpoject with Piolo, is also Toni's comeback in movies since her last full-length film was in 2015 when she starred in You're My Boss.

Last Night is centered on its two main protagonists Mark (Pascual) and Carmina (Gonzaga). Mark, a man who lost everything, meets Carmina, who in one dark night. Both Mark and Carmina are at the end of their threads as they unexpectedly begin a deal that leads to friendship that eventually creates a connection between the two of them that blooms into love.














Last Night is written by Bela Padilla. This is Bela's fourth screenplay, and a first in Star Cinema. Prior to Last Night, Bela's most notable projects in ABS-CBN are her starring roles on the top-rating prime time series Ang Probinsyano and recently concluded prime time series My Dear Heart where she was feature alongside Zanjoe Marudo, Heart Ramos and Ms. Coney Reyes. Bela's foray into scripwriting for movies makes her one of the emerging and most influential millennial voices in the industry today.

Last Night is a different kind of love story that inspires hope to every person who has given up on love. Is it really the end for Mark and Carmina or are big things in store for them?
