A Glimpse into 'Incognito': Behind the Scenes with the Cast

 

At the media junket of Incognito for Netflix held last January 10, 2025, we got a chance to talk to the cast as they shared their fond moments in filming Incognito.  The series stars a powerhouse cast led by Daniel Padilla, Richard Gutierrez, Ian Veneracion, Baron Geisler, Kaila Estrada, Maris Racal, and Anthony Jennings.

Since this is an action pack series, we ask Daniel, Richard and Ian on the advice they get from each other whether in doing action scenes or as an actor.

Daniel Padilla answers "Kay Chard talagang magtatanung ako pagdating sa tactical namin, kapag may mga eksena kami na hindi ako sigurado, tinatanung ko siya kung tama ba ang paghawak ko sa baril ko, tama ba iyong posisyon ko, si Chard lagi mo malalapitan kasi alam na alam niya iyong galawan. Si Tito Ian naman, kausap ko yan bago magsimula ang Incognito, kasi ang usapan naman namin is very spiritual palagi eh, mga ganun, syemre hindi ko pa alam ang timpla ko noon, I mean excited ako pero hindi ko alam kung nasaang lugar ba ako,kakayanin ko ba ito so after nung first scene ko, na excite na ako na gawin ito kasama silang lahat."

Richard Gutierrez answers "Ako siguro more than the advice is iyong samahan namin, nakasama ko na sila pareho sa ibang projects before, so may mga pinagsamahan na din kami and dito sa Incognito na very promising, action , talagag we really count on each other. Pagdating sa life advice or anything, I can ask Ian, pagdating sa kulitan, kami naman ni Daniel ang sparring partner so masaya iyong group namin, so more than the advice I think, its really the bond and the camaraderie."

Ian Veneracion answers "Kami nagbabantayan kami, lalo na set ng action scenes, for example sa body gear, mahirap kasi icheck yun on your own, so buddy system iyon and we check on each other kung tama pa ba iyong gear na suot namin, tapos after the shooting lagi kaming nagkwekwentuhan, kahit buong araw na kami magkakasama, we ended in one other's room and we talk about the characters, about craft, storylines and suggestions. Si DJ laging madamin ideas na gusto isuggest kay Direk and masarap lang kasi its a constant brainstorming and nagpapalitan kami ng insights sa trabaho."

When Maris ask about her memorable experience shooting in Italy, she says "For me iyong seeing how the Italian stuntmen work, kasi napaka professional nila, and you can really see na they are doing this things for years na already, they come prepared, sobrang covered up nila, inuuna nila iyong security and safety. Ang galing nila when it comes to action as in parang this guys, they have been working for big productions, nag hollywood na sila, sila iyong ginagamit na stuntman sa mga Western movies, also iyong Italian production, sobrang saya nilang kasama, iyong ang favorite moment ko, iyong bonding with them and getting to know them."
