Maris Racal finally got her launching film as lead role in Pista ng Pelikulang Piliino 2019 Official entry - I'm Ellenya L. Produced by Spring Films, N2 Productions and Cobalt Productions. Helmed by the first time director Boy 2 Quizon, Maris's leading man on this film is Inigo Pascual, which their loveteam is collectively known as MarNigo. 

I'm Ellenya L is about Ellenya Lakampati, whose just like any millenial, she exemplifies every stereotype of her generation. Her whole lifestyle revolves around social media and trying to be famous. Ellenya lives with her loving and supporting father, Daddy Toots who is a musician, and her conservative and traditional grandmother, Lola Madz. Ellenya's best friend, Peng (Inigo), lives next door. He's a talented photographer who is wary of the image she portrays online. Ellenya's action online are patterned and she discovers that Sue is assisted by star maker and infuencer Kyle Quintos. One day, she luckily meets Kyle at her job. Ellenya trie s to convince Kyle that she is a big time vlogger. Although Kyle see through her act, her persistence garners Kyle to give her a shot. All she needs to do is to produce a huge amount of online views in a week. Together with Peng and Daddy Toots, they focus on making content. Kyle also offers Ellenya a shot at a huge event. Eventually, Ellenya goes viral for a wrong reason.

Maristella Racal,better know as Maris Racal, is a Filipina actress, singer/songwriter and television personality who won 2nd Big Placer on Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) All In. Maris grew up in a musically inclined family and learned to sing and play instruments at a young age. Inigo Dominic Lazaro Pascual, commonly known as Inigo Pascual is a Filipino singer, songwriter and actor popularly known for his 2016 hit single, "Dahil Sa'yo", the first number one song on Billboard Philippines then new Philippine Top 20 chart. He is the son of the actor Piolo Pascual.

I'm Ellenya L  started out on how millenials deal with their daily lives and struggles. Through collaboration and weeks of brainstorming, Boy 2 Quizon ended with story that doesn't only explore the lifestyle of millenials, but hopefully show their aspirations and failures. Since it is also the directorial debut of Boy 2, he decided to ensure that the viewers will see his own brand and comedy in the film. He took careful consideration of the classic way of doing gags, but also making sure injecting their own brand of new organic and subtle humor. Even though the film is about millenial, Boy 2 believes that the older viewers will still be able to enjoy because they will see a glimpse of how this generation thinks such as their love ones and friends.  I'm Ellenya L opens in cinemas September 13 2019 nationwide.
