I Love You, Hater is simply an entertaining film that maximizes the acting capabilities of Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto. The undeniable chemistry between JoshLia was overflowing and the film gave them enough exposure to showcase their on screen chemistry. Joshua stands out on his comedic performance as a straight guy pretending to be a gay while Julia shines on her dramatic performance at her breakdown scene with Joshua. Kris Aquino on the other hand, adds color to the film with her vibrant character that brings JoshLia together. Overall I Love You, Hater is a fun kilig romantic film with a takeaway of being true to your self.
