This movie surprises me, I did not expect that this movie is
going to be a big one. Sa quality pa lang ng texture ng film , napakalinaw
cause they used red cam. Well the movie is about the young boy and a men na mga
magnanakaw sa gamit ng patay sa sementeryo.
Then sa huling bayan na pinuntahan nila ay nahuli sila kaya hinabol sila
ng mga taong bayan hanggang sa makarating sila sa isang isla na dominated ng
mga zombies na kumakain ng kapwa tao at doon nila na meet ang 2 survivor sa
isla na iyon na siyang nakakaalam ng dahilan kung bakit nagging zmbie ang mga
tao doon. The conflict will start their kung papaano sila makakatakas sa isla
na iyon o magiging isa din ba sila sa mga zombie.
The movie really amazes me. It got a good screenplay. Every
scene is worth watching for. Talagang aabangan mo ang bawat eksena. It also got
a solid unique story. They used non actors sa film na ito and I thnk mga
veteran character actor na madalang kong mapanood sa mainstream. All of the
actors did well on their role. So maganda din pala na ganito yung
treatment sa
film na non actors yung mga gumanap kasi mas nabibigyan nila ng buhay yung
character at hindi ka natatali sa mukha ng isang kilalang artista. It is very
refreshing to see them act together.
Special mention sa dalawang bidang lalaki na sina Ronald Pacifico as
Romy and Marti Sandino San Juan as Peewee na napaka natural ng acting at
napakahuhusay ng pagkakaganap. Pinakanagustuhan kong eksena is yung
conversation ni Romy with the foreigner scientist because you would not expect
sa isang batang magnanakaw na marunong mag English at fluent pa. Effective yung
scene na yun para matawa ang mga audience. Basta ang galing talaga ng movie
that’s why I would like to commend as well the director of the film and his
AD’s for creating this masterpiece. I like the treatment that they did in the film
it is very fast paced adventure film. The fight scene was awesome as well
parang nanood ako ng Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles ganoon ang quality ng movie
na ito. I did not expect that an indie film can match the quality of a mainstream
movie in which the genre is action suspense horror comedy movie. Parang pwede
mong ipantapat ito sa mga quality film
from other Asian countries. This is the first time na napakanood ako ng indie
film na ganito ang genre and it exceed my expectation, dahil parang hindi siya
indie, sobrang iba yung quality ng movie na ito, without exaggeration. And
because of that this is the first indie film that Im going to give a perfect
score for my review.
It’s nice to have this kind of genre in an indie film. It’s
a bold move because it is very risky to produce this kind of genre in a very
limited market but for me this kind of film, deserves a mainstream market at
kailangan mapanood ng mga tao at kailangan ma imarket sa ibang bansa cause our
country can also create this kind of quality action adventure horror suspense
comedy film. I am looking forward that they continue to produce such film and I
am wishing for the mainstream films to produce this kind of film that is worth
watching. I will recommend everyone to watch this film on MMFF New Wave as they
still have special screening at Glorietta 4 extended until December 24 2012. Kudos
to the team. Job well done.
