Many shared that they are already “in the zone,” fully immersed in their characters, with the scale of production matching the ambition of the story. With its visibly high budget and polished visuals, Project Loki is shaping up to be one of the most expensive-looking local series to date.

A major highlight of the event was Jayda Avanzado, who revealed that she not only performs but also wrote the official soundtrack titled Babala. She also confirmed that she and Dylan Menor will be releasing a duet that will be included in the show’s soundtrack, further strengthening the emotional pull of the series through music.

Watch videos below as director Xian Lim, along with cast members Dylan Menor, Jayda Avanzado, Marco Gallo, and others take audiences behind the scenes of filming Project Loki, sharing insights into the creative process, character preparation, and the pressure of adapting a story with a massive existing fanbase.

Project Loki is the long-awaited series adaptation of the hit Wattpad web novel by AkoSiIbarra, which has amassed over 93 million reads. Streaming exclusively on Viva One and CignalPlay starting February 21, 2026, the mystery-crime thriller follows Lorelei and Loki as they investigate a string of disturbing incidents at Clark University. As the mysteries deepen, secrets begin to surface, forcing the characters to confront both hidden crimes and personal truths. The story expands through the involvement of Luthor, the university’s student council vice president and Loki’s older brother, as well as the other members of the QED Club, who work together to unravel Clark U’s darkest mysteries.

Director Xian Lim emphasized his commitment to honoring the source material, sharing that the goal is to give full justice to what he described as a masterpiece created by AkoSiIbarra. This dedication was echoed by the author himself, who closely collaborated with the production, ensuring that the characters’ speech, movement, and overall presence remain faithful to what readers fell in love with on Wattpad. According to the author, fans can expect the adaptation to closely reflect the story they know, preserving both its tone and emotional core.

The cast expressed varying emotions as they prepare to step into these complex roles. Jayda Avanzado, who plays Lorelei, spoke about enjoying the fandom’s enthusiasm, particularly the online shippers supporting different character pairings, and teased that those moments will be explored on screen. Dylan Menor shared that his naturally nonchalant and mysterious personality allows him to connect deeply with Loki, helping him portray the character with authenticity. Marco Gallo described his role as Luthor as both exciting and intimidating, calling it a step into unfamiliar territory that challenges him as an actor.

Other cast members also offered glimpses into their characters and the surprises audiences can expect. Yumi Garcia teased a character audiences will love, hate, and remember, while Martin Venegas shared the pressure and thrill of transitioning from romantic comedy to a darker, more suspense-driven genre. Despite their different backgrounds and approaches, the cast is united by a shared excitement to deliver a gripping, high-quality series.

Produced by Studio Viva and MQuest Ventures in cooperation with Cignal and Webtoon Productions, Project Loki promises a tightly woven mystery filled with intrigue, emotional tension, and unexpected twists. With its strong cast, faithful adaptation, and cinematic scale, the series is poised to keep viewers hooked episode after episode when it premieres on February 21, streaming simultaneously on Viva One and CignalPlay.
