Piolo Pascal: An unwavering force in PH entertainment

From the silver screen, the musical theater stage, the concert hall, to the world of internet streaming, Polo Pascal is undoubtedly a true artist who continues to evolve, adapt, and defy expectations. With twenty five amazing years already under his belt, there is no stopping the Philippines* Ultimate Heartthrob from pushing his art even further in the colorful, challenging, and ever-changing world of Philippine entertainment.

This October 20 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in a concert aptly titled "An Ultimate Night With Piolo" (directed by Mr. Johnny Manahan), Polo will be taking concert goers on a date night filled with a wide variety of music and surprise special guests that will surely take the audience's breath away.

Shortly after the concert, Polo will be heading to North America this November for a 5-stop international concert tour in the U.S.A. and Canada.

With "Mallari" - a horror film inspired by actual events in the life of the first documented Filipino serial killer - being chosen as one of the official entries of the Metro Manila Film Festival

(MMFF) 2023, this makes 2023 the first time Polo will be a part of the popular film festival once again since 2002's "Dekada 70." The film is also notable for being his first ever horror project.

As if taking the lead role in a MMFF entry wasn't impressive enough, the award-winning actor is also part of another MMFF entry entitled "GomBurZa" in a special participating role.

In Netflix Philippines' first-ever Christmas ID, it was revealed that Polo is one of the lead stars of upcoming Netflix Original series "Replacing Chef Chico" - starring alongside Sam Milby and Alessandra De Rossi. The groundbreaking Filipino-produced series will be streaming on Netflix this November.

On the international film festival scene, Polo is also making his presence felt as one of the leading men of Brillante Mendoza's star-studded "Moro" - a tragic drama about two warring brothers in Mindanao - that just recently premiered at the 28th Busan International Film Festival.

Last June 2023, in a bid to push his acting and musical chops to new limits while raising funds for a good cause, Polo debuted on the musical theater stage as the titular star of the critically-acclaimed original Filipino stage musical "Ibarra."

Lastly, this November as well, he will be releasing a new album under Star Music with Jonathan Manalo on the producer's chair. The album will contain 8 tracks with Polo performing alongside Juris, Morissette, Yeng Constantino, KZ Tandingan, Moira Dela Torre, Kyla, and Regine Velasquez.
