Movie Review: My Teacher

A high school teacher returns to her hometown and learns life’s most valuable lesson from her unconventional student — a 70-year-old man.

Beautiful story and visuals and homage to our beloved teachers. It will touch your heart, make you kilig & laugh out loud! Chemistry is evident between Toni Gonzaga and Joey De Leon. I can say that the role fits them well. The comedy banter of the two are lit and effective. The cinematography of the  film is commendable with its camera movement and glossy feels of the film with a commercial vibe that suit the theme of the movie. LoiNie is a delight to see on the screen. And surprisingly the Boys Love arc in the film is kilig with Isaiah Dela Cruz and Kych Minemoto. Rufa Mae Quinto is so funny in this film. I also like the theme song of the film with its message and soothing voice of Toni Gonzaga. So if you miss going to school, this movie is a perfect nostalgia.

My Verdict: 4/5
