Love Withstands Fate’s Heartbreaking Punches on TV5’s First Movieserye ‘Suntok Sa Buwan’

 

We all know the unconditional love most parents give to their children. But will a child offer the extreme sacrifice of giving up his freedom for his father? Witness the heart-tugging story of a father and his devoted son as they journey through life’s trials and tribulations in this movie series, Suntok Sa Buwan, on TV5 starting this Monday, July 18.  


Multi-awarded actor Aga Muhlach, in his first movieserye on television, topbill this dramatic series together with Gawad Urian Best Actor Elijah Canlas, Maris Racal, Matet de Leon, and Rez Cortez, among others. 

 

 

 
 
 

 

 

Aga portrays the role of a retired boxer named Jimmy Boy, who was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer which deeply hinders his son, Dos (played by Elijah Canlas), from fulfilling his dream of becoming a professional boxer like his father. The two will be faced with conflicts and life-challenging experiences that would lead one of them to make the ultimate sacrifice and alternatively strengthen their bond as father and son. 


Set primarily in the summer capital of the Philippines, Baguio City, TV5 proudly introduces another top-notch entertainment offering that is bound to inspire its viewers to overcome the challenges that life throws at you through love, hope, and sacrifice.
