Movie Review: 366

In “366,” a woman named June (Bela Padilla) has 365 days to move on with the heartbreak of losing Pao (JC Santos), her ex-boyfriend. Her neighbor, Marco (Zanjoe Marudo), suggests they do things that June and Pao have never got to do and agrees to be her proxy-boyfriend. Soon, they learn to move forward in life and in love... one day at a time.

A well made film on embracing grief and moving on. Bela Padilla delivers an effective performance as a sad girl longing for his ex boyfriend. You will root for her character and get affected by her performance. Zanjoe Marudo on the other hand gave a sensible performance as well as a supportive friend and you will wish that he will be your ideal boyfriend that you would like to have. The feels and treatment of the film with the help of musical scoring and cinematography set the right tone of the film as you will really feel cold, alone and longing while watching the film. The film achieves its intention of having emotional connection to the audience and makes us realize that is okay not to be okay. This film is not usually seen on the table in Filipino films, so if you want to fall in love and appreciate more life, 366 is a good film to watch.

My Verdict: 4/5
