Set to make another indelible mark in Philippine cinema after the classic " Nunal Sa Tubig", two of the country's finest actresses Elizabeth Oropesa and Daria Ramirez reunite in "ECQ Diary" (Bawal Lumabas), a movie about the Covid-19 pandemic.

The two play the roles of Susan and Amalia, senior citizens, who are among the most vulnerable age group at the time of the pandemic.

Oropesa also known in the entertainment industry as La Oro decided to produce because she strongly feels the need to create a movie about the 2020 pandemic.

"I feel we are obligated as artists to remember our shared struggle in the year of the CoVid-19 pandemic," La Oro said.

ECQ Diary ( Bawal Lumabas ) is written and directed by journalist and filmmaker Arlyn Dela Cruz-Bernal.

ADC-Bernal said the movie will not be made had La Oro did not believe in the material. She adds, " it's such an honor and a fulfilling experience to work with two of Philippine Cinema's finests. It"s brilliance in every scene."
