Movie Review: Mary, Marry Me

Mary, Marry, Me is the story of Mary Jane (Toni) and her estranged younger sister Mary Anne (Alex) who is set to marry the former’s ex-boyfriend Pete (Sam Milby). Despite the initial hesitation, Mary Jane’s commitment to make up to her sister has enabled her to set aside her uneasiness with her ex-boyfriend as she agreed to plan their wedding.

Mary, Marry Me is an entertaining fun to watch film that teach us the value of family in our life.
This hilarious family oriented sisterhood film will make you laugh and touch your heart from start to end. It will make you appreciate more your siblings. As a fan of Sam and Toni love team, this film will never let you down as the magic and chemistry of the two is still the same that we miss to watch on the silver screen. It feels like reminiscing the past. Alex Gonzaga is such a natural comedian and shine on her dramatic performance. Toni Gonzaga gave her most subtle and sincere performance to date that will make you really feel her character as a loving sister. Sam Milby is such a charming heartthrob that fits his role well.  Adding colors to the film that will surely make you laugh out loud are the witty comedian that we have, from Bayani Agbayani, Moi Bien up to
the scene stealer Melai Cantiveros. Overall Mary, Marry Me is a sweet, funny, and touching film that reaffirms your faith on the strength of family ties. This film will surely hit your love for the family.

My Verdict:  3.5/5
