The Hows Of Us follows the story of couple Primo (Daniel Padilla) and George (Kathryn Bernardo) who are in a long-term relationship and are already building and planning their future together. Their love will be put to the test as their relationship faces hurdles - from misunderstandings to different career paths, among others.
So happy
to see KathNiel in more mature and sensitive love story that truly
showcase their capabilities as an actor and actress. Daniel Padilla
portrayed Primo as natural at it can be. No exaggeration and was never
underplayed. He gave nuances and subtle acting most of the time but
still hits your heart. Kathryn Bernardo fully grow in this film as she
delivered her best performance to date. Especially with her crying
moments and breakdown scenes that
will make you cry as well. Direk Cathy Garcia Molina still has her own
style of telling a love story that was already told many times but she
always give a
different kind of treatment. I love the editing that was so on point
and the dialogues of George and Primo that definitely you can relate to
and will surely strike your heart. The film have a lot of advise in
handling a relationship, that there is no perfect formula in having a
happy and longer relationship. Yes its easy to let go than to stay, but
when you love a person you'll always find a reason to stay. The Hows of
Us is definitely an addition to the roster of classic, memorable,
heartwarming romantic films of Star Cinema that will always stay to the
heart of moviegoers.
