Movie Review: Avengers: Age of Ultron

When Tony Stark  jumpstarts a dormant peacekeeping program, things go terribly awry, forcing him, Thor, the Incredible Hulk and the rest of the Avengers to reassemble. As the fate of Earth hangs in the balance, the team is put to the ultimate test as they battle Ultron , a technological terror hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they encounter two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff.

The most anticipated comic-book film event of the year has arrived, and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is worth the hype. It gets darker than the first, and still manages to be just as funny and action-packed. It’s a blockbuster popcorn spectacle to behold, and one that I’d definitely recommend seeing in the best theater setting available.  The chemistry amongst our heroes is once again terrific to watch, and the action sequences deliver both thrills and laughs.

The movie's action sequences and sequel-baiting suck up much of its oxygen, and the magnitude of battles dwarf the smaller moments. I would like to commend the special effects of the film for giving us one of a heck ride all throughout the film. I've personally enjoyed the film and its refreshing to see on a big screen all my favorite superheroes in one film. Tony Stark and Thor's hammer are scene stealer that give humor to the film. An intensely satisfying movie, that delivers style, comedy and just action packed! A must see Hollywood superhero film of the year!

My Verdict: 4/5
