Now on its 5th Year, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde will have its annual independent film festival from April 6-17 2015.
The festival aims to present the finest efforts of film students (and cineastes), not only from Benilde, but also from schools and film-related institutions nationwide. It does this via five modules:
* THE CHAIR - a CSB thesis competition
* HARVEST MOON - an exhibition culled from its production courses
* TWENTY-QUATRO - an interscholastic 24-hour production competition
* CINEMA REHIYON SAMPLER - a sampler of excellent regional oeuvres
* INDIEANI - a showcase of best school works from all over the country
In line with the opening will be a showcase of the outstanding works from
Benilde Film, which will be featured in Bemildean Film Mavericks, films included are: The Steel Child by Jake Soriano; The Little Reader by Shallah Montero; Laum by Xandrino Mangunay; Lola’s Boy by Hann Marcelino; The Infinite Sun by Glenmark Doromal; and Estribo by Cedree Wheeler.
CineSB 5inco: Independent Film Festival opening night are open to public as well as the succeeding days except for evening screenings in which each ticket cost Php 150.
