Out of 146 submitted entries, the CINE FILIPINO Film Festival 2013 screening committee has chosen the Top 8 that will be given a 1.5 Million Pesos grant to produce the film. Here are the following 8 entries announced by Festival Director Vincent Nebrida:

“A comedy about six single women whose lives intersect when a bingo marathon is launched in their church for the barangay fiesta.” - The Guerilla Is A Poet by Sari Dalena and Kiri Dalena —
