LiVESCREAM is about an online influencer named Exo (Elijah Canlas). He is overdoing it by making prank videos that hurt people. That's why many are calling to stop supporting him and even cancel it.
One day, he just woke up in a room and he was a captive. At first, he thought it was just a prank by his girlfriend but that changed when he received an order to use the "torture wall", and if not, his girlfriend and grandmother would be punished.
Exo no longer has control over his situation and he will experience various types of physical, sexual, and mental abuse. And all of it is live streaming.

LiVESCREAM is an intense psychological horror slasher film with social relevance. It gives us a glimpse of the world of vlogging with its positive and negative consequences. The film has been able to build an effective world of torture porn that is cleverly made and executed. It is a decent gore fest with a cause and intention. Elijah gave it all with his breathtaking performance. Credits given to him as he is alone on most of the scenes for more than fifty percent of the film and he's been able to sustain the emotion required in the character. You will root for him for the journey he went through all throughout the film. Phoebe on the other hand effectively gave us a range of emotion and split characters that you will not expect coming. The pacing and editing is also commendable for giving just enough time for the audience to be hooked up on the edge of their seats. LiVESCREAM is groundbreaking in the Filipino horror suspense genre for introducing a new way of frightening and shocking the audience with twists and turns at every corner. So if you want to watch a different kind of horror and a decent Filipino slasher film, you may catch
LiVESCREAM on Vivamax Plus starting Nov 9.
My Verdict: 4/5
