On July 31, 2025, Smart Araneta Coliseum was filled with excitement, music, and heartfelt energy as Unilab and Mercury Drug celebrated their 80th anniversary through a massive concert bash — Alagang Suki Fest 2025.
This wasn’t just any concert. It felt like a heartfelt “thank you” to generations of Filipinos who grew up with these two trusted brands. The show featured an incredible lineup: Gary Valenciano, BINI, Mayonnaise, Maki, Darren Espanto, and Belle Mariano, all bringing their own magic to the stage.
The night was full of surprises. Brand segments added extra fun and laughter with celebrity ambassadors Jolina Magdangal (Neurogen-E) and Robi Domingo (Kremil-S). Their energy and humor really hyped up the crowd — and gave the event a festive, lighthearted feel.
Opening the main program was Belle Mariano — and she was a total standout. I didn’t expect her performance to be that bold. She sang and danced to throwback hits like Dancing Queen, Single Ladies, Wanna Dance with Somebody, and Build Me Up Buttercup. The audience absolutely loved her — it felt like watching a mini solo concert. Belle truly proved herself as a well-rounded performer.
Next up, Mayonnaise hit the stage with raw energy and their signature OPM rock anthems. Everyone went wild when they performed Jopay and Tayo Na Lang Dalawa. The crowd was singing along, jumping, and just having the time of their lives.
Darren Espanto brought smooth vocals and serious charm to the night. He sang In Love Ako Sa'yo, Dying Inside, and of course, his well-known PBB eviction song Paalam Muna Sandali. His performance was polished, emotional, and really connected with the crowd.
Then came Maki, and the younger crowd went crazy. He performed his hits like Dilaw, Namumula, Pano, Saan, and his newer tracks Bughaw and Kahel. He had great chemistry with the audience and added a fun, youthful vibe to the night. Witty, relatable, and effortlessly charming.
My personal favorite? No question — Gary V. He still has that insane energy and stage presence. From Di Bale Na Lang to Hataw Na and his iconic ballads, he took the whole arena on a nostalgic journey. Whether you're a longtime fan or seeing him for the first time, his performance was unforgettable. He truly brought the house down.
For the grand finale, BINI lit up the stage. The crowd went wild as they performed Pantropiko, Salamin Salamin, Karera, and their latest single Shagidi. Their choreography, stage presence, and vocals were all on point — you could feel how much love and support they had from their fans.
What made this night special wasn't just the star-studded lineup — it was the message behind it. This concert was a celebration of community, connection, and 80 years of care. From trusted medicines to lasting memories, Unilab and Mercury Drug have truly been part of Filipino life — and this event was their way of giving back.
Alagang Suki Fest 2025 was created through the Alagang Unilab Rewards and Mercury Drug Suki Card programs, and it showed how music, gratitude, and unity can turn one night into something unforgettable.
Thank you, Unilab and Mercury Drug, for 80 years of trust and care. This was more than just a concert — it was a celebration of who we are and the brands that have always been with us.
