Movie Review: Class of 2018

Sharlene is Ada, a loner who gets bullied. Nash is RJ, a “cool kid” who is a part of the popular rich boy posse. CJ is Migs, a geek obsessed with conspiracy theories. Kristel is Princess, a reformed mean girl who is doing her best to befriend the class, while Kiray is Venus, the school’s reigning queen bee who leads a popular clique.

“Class of 2018” is about Section Zamora, which is a class of underachievers, repeaters, and delinquents. When Section Zamora goes on an out-of-town field trip, a classmate contracts a mysterious virus, which prompts the military to quarantine them in an abandoned military facility. Ada, RJ, Princess, Migs, Venus, and the rest of Section Zamora fight for survival while dealing with the dangers of the infectious virus and politics among untrustworthy classmates.

Movie Review: To Love Some Buddy

After over a decade, college classmates Faith (Maja Salvador) and Julius (Zanjoe Marudo) meet again, and from a seemingly awkward reunion, a friendship blooms. As their friendship gets deeper, so does their feelings for each other – leading them to try being a couple. But their friendship will be tested by the expectations and problems that come with a relationship. Faith and Julius would journey to understanding that sometimes, choosing to commit to someone is also choosing to grow. This story is an anatomy of how friends turn into lovers—the mistakes that we do and the lessons we learn from it.

Movie Review: All Souls Night

Shirley shares a room with the couple’s young daughter, and observes that the child is a terrified mess. She tells Ellen about it, only to be forbidden to interfere in whatever she sees going on around the house. After the child tells Shirley that the man is not her father, nerve- racking incidents one after another are revealed to her. And she will not be spared from it.
