CK Film Productions' 'Pitik Bulag' Holds Successful Red Carpet Premiere

Despite the general box office slump in the past two months of the quarter, it is quite encouraging to see that there are more Filipino filmmakers and producers who continue to venture in creating projects that directly sustain and elevate the entertainment and movie industry. It is in this light that CK Film Productions should be commended. Founded by Capt.Carlito B. Drilon, one of today's rising film producers and visionaries, the film outfit is set to make its mark in the industry. Drilon, a Dumangas, Iloilo-born filmmaker is not only a holder of Doctorate degree but also an artistic visionary in his own right. Starting his film production even in the midst of the social media and digital content era, Drilon believes passionately in his vision to create, produce and give life to film projects that are deeply rooted in the Filipino culture and trend. 

 

Drilon's first-ever produced and launching film project is entitled "PITIK BULAG," the CK Film Productions and Sining ng Tahanan creative collaboration. The film is directed by Hanaiah Grace and DoP Rachel Atienza, screenwriter Lotlot Bustamante and actress, Angel Raymundo, as well as creative consultant, Tomashiwa Dumapit. The MTRCB Rated PG film features rising lead actors AJ Ferrer and Domnic Pangilinan. A must see film, it talks about mother and son relationship, friendship and also explores the abusive even deadly rituals of hazing culture in school. 

 

The film had its successful and well-attended Red Carpet World Premiere night last March 1, 2024, Friday at Shangrila Ortigas Cinema 1. During the glitz and glamor event VIPs, guests and sponsors graced the occasion with meet-and-greet with lead actors, film production crew and supporters.
