Edu Manzano: Leni to further strengthen PNP if elected president

Vice President Leni Robredo has clear and concrete plans to further strengthen the Philippine National Police (PNP) if she wins the presidency in the May 9 elections.

This was assured by actor Edu Manzano in a video message where he stressed the need for a brave leader who will fortify the country’s justice system and lead the government’s fight against criminal syndicates and illegal drugs.

He said as president, VP Leni will continue the government war against illegal drugs but through a humane and lawful manner.

“Iyong itutuloy ang laban sa illegal drugs. Pero sa tama at makataong paraan. Walang inosenteng madadamay,” Edu said.

Edu pointed out that former and retired PNP officials have backed VP Leni's candidacy because they believe she’s more than qualified to be the country’s next leader
