Enjoy and experience proudly Filipino stories of joy, love, and laughter online as ABS-CBN Entertainment streams on its YouTube channel blockbuster Filipino movies and hit TV shows that are dubbed and subtitled in English starting June 25 until July 31.
ABS-CBN, the leading Filipino media and entertainment company, is making these special offerings available globally on YouTube as part of the celebration of Philippine Independence in June.
Viewers can watch the English-dubbed episodes of three ABS-CBN drama series, including “Doble Kara,” which features the iconic dual role of award-winning actress Julia Montes. She plays identical twin sisters Sara and Kara, who as children get separated, reunite by chance years later, and trade places as they search for love, belongingness, and ambition.
Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz, one of the Philippines’ most popular on-screen pairings, play star-crossed lovers in “It Might Be You,” about a mayor’s son and a poor orphan whose relationship is tested by their complicated family histories.
Romantic-comedy series “Crazy For You,” which stars Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano, tackles the experiences of overseas Filipino workers in Spain through the lens of a day-hire maid and her Filipino boss. They unexpectedly meet and fall in love, initially unaware of the connection that binds them.
ABS-CBN Entertainment also offers five movies with English subtitles, including the heartwarming family comedy “Super Parental Guardians,” where Filipino superstars Vice Ganda and Coco Martin unexpectedly become parents to two kids who lost their parents.
A relationship is put to the test in “How To Be Yours,” where a sales agent and a cook (Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo) find themselves at a crossroads when their priorities and future goals become too different to be ignored.
The romantic-comedy “Just the 3 of Us” follows the love story of a pilot and a flight attendant (John Lloyd Cruz and Jennylyn Mercado) who are forced to live together after she gets pregnant from their one-night stand.
An ensemble cast led by Kris Aquino, Kim Chiu, and Jodi Sta. Maria is featured in “All You Need is Pag-ibig” (“All You Need is Love”), a heartwarming romantic and family movie that explores and celebrates love in all its forms.
In the fantasy comedy-drama “Kusina Kings” (“Kitchen Kings”), two best friends (Zanjoe Marudo and Empoy Marquez) must win a cook-off challenge in order to save their restaurant – an undertaking that turns out to be detrimental to their friendship.
