Movie Review: Kaaway Sa Sulod

Two women, an army officer and a guerrilla fighter, cross paths in a mission and find out they are mirror images of each other. They uncover a dark past that unite them in the midst of conflict.

Kaaway Sa Sulod boast of Dionne Monsanto's good performance that might gave her an acting nod for this year's QCinema and other award giving bodies. She delivers exemplary acting not only in drama but also in her on point action scenes that was truly admirable. Kudos for the film for still bringing a story concerning regional issues that are rarely discussed in Philippine cinema. Mindano filmmaker Arbi Barbarona has its own style on narrating his vision and their culture that you can truly felt the heart and intention to showcase their stories that need to be told.

My Verdict: 3.5/5
