Pinay Beauty is about the perennial quest of a typical Filipina to look Caucasian and the cost they entail.
A funny ad weird film anchored by the great performance by Chai Fonacier and ensemble cast. Pinay Beauty is most enjoyable when friends of Chai do the foolish and nasty things just to accomplished an impossible mission. Though it struggle on story telling, I love the message of the film that we are all beautiful when we are happy. So if you want to watch a dark comedy with an interesting premise on aspirational beauty, watch Pinay Beauty.
