Movie Review: Third Eye

A young woman's supernatural ability to see ghosts is reawakened following the death of her mother. As she adjusts to her new, deathly surroundings, she and her loved ones become the target of some ill-meaning individuals. 

This is not your typical local horror-suspense flick. Aside from its good poster. The film is well written, well established yung main character na si Mylene played by Carla Abellana. She also did a good job in acting here. She is very natural and pretty in the film. Medyo kakaiba yung twist ng story at infairness hindi ganun ka pilit yung mga scene about sa personal issues nung mga character while they were being chased by the villain. I also like the buildup of the story until it reaches its climax and the suspense is maintained all throughout the film. Good thing that you will catch Alex Medina on his first mainstream film and EJ Falcon on his first lead actor role on a mainstream as well. Denise Joaquin, Camille Pratts and Cai Cortez are also a good support in the film. A different kind of story though there’s a bit similarity with Pagpag in which someone needs to be killed in order for a dead body to resurrect. Though over all the film is a good catch to watch for a horror suspense flick.
