Movie Review: Santigwar

Horseshoe Studios and Reality Entertainment presents a story about Hasmin (Alexa Ilacad), a Santigwar (healer, warrior) who has been on a decade-long hunt for the Aswang clan who killed her mother. When she and her father encounter a group of fun-seeking boys headed to an abandoned town, she knew that the Aswangs she seek are now near. Is Hasmin powerful enough to avenge her mother and will she be able accept the bitter truth that binds her Santigwar family to the Aswangs?

The reason to see this film is its promising story, acting prowess of Alexa Ilacad and the film’s effort to give an entertaining barkada horror treat. Best watch with friends to enjoy with. If you enjoy Joven’s Tan OTLUM last year you’ll definitely like this as this is much better and well made. The four boys Paolo Angeles, Marco Gallo, Marlo Motel and another promising discovery from Horseshoe and Reality Entertainment  Keann Johnson are such an eye candy to watch.

My Verdict: 3/5
