Set in the world of vlogs, dating apps and live videos - Black Lipstick reimagines the concept of beauty and acceptance in the age of social media.
Black Lipstick is a decent pinoy youth oriented film with a beautiful message on insecurities, bullying, and self-love. It is done in an entertaining manner where it is relatable in today's generation. Notable performance should be given to Kyline Alcantara that is really full of a potential to be the next best actress of her generation. New face Migo Adecer is also a new young actor to watch for that also matches Kyline's performance for this film. Black Lipstick is a nice retelling of the classic film Blusang Itim that serve its purpose to entertain and inspire by its story.
