Movie Review: Ang Pambansang Third Wheel

Trina has lived her whole life as a third wheel. Until she meets the man of her dreams, a man that passes her standards, who she thinks will get her out of her awkward situation. Only to find out the guy she's dating is a single dad to an 8-year old boy. And the boy's mother is still around. Will Trina ever break free from being a third or fourth wheel and finally find happiness as the Only One?

Ang Pambansang Third Wheel is funny and entertaining. I enjoyed watching the film.  The film has been able to achieve a quirky modern romcom genre. A new mainstream romcom director to watch to is born with Ivan Andrew Payawal. I love the  stylish and innovative treatment that he did in telling a story to give a new flavor to a romcom genre. Yassi and Sam look good together on screen. The two justified their role and deliver good chemistry in the silver screen. The supporting cast were good as well to keep you laugh throughout the movie. Overall  Ang Pambansang Third Wheel is a decent pinoy romantic comedy with good storyline and unexpected heartfelt twist.

My Verdict:  3.5/5
