Movie Review: Fatherland

A young man from the U.S. returns to the Philippines to search for his long-lost father, only to uncover a past filled with secrets, identity struggles, and danger—leading to a heartbreaking reunion in the midst of violence. The film centers around a young man, after his mother’s death, he returns to the Philippines to connect with his roots and embarks on a journey to find his father. As he searches for his father, he becomes more aware of his homeland’s current issues.

Movie Review: Huwag Mo 'Kong Iwan

Two ex-lovers who reunited, only to find themselves separated again when one of them gets embroiled in human trafficking and illegal drug trade.  Rhian Ramos is Lara, a dreamer from the province who unfortunately lands in jail in Manila after a series of unfortunate events. Aside from what she faces, her heart is torn between her childhood sweetheart and fiancé Joseph (JC de Vera), a musician who left behind his band’s overseas posting to marry Lara. Tom Rodriguez is Edwin, Lara's lovestruck lawyer.
