Movie Review: Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital

This horror film is about a team of adventurous celebrities who are invited to explore and film in Taiwan’s infamous Xinglin Hospital, one of the most haunted locations in Southeast Asia. What was thought to be a unique opportunity for an adventurous and cutting edge production quickly spirals into a horrifying ordeal – escalating to horrifying levels as the celebrities face paranormal phenomena in every halls, room, and floors reek presence that makes every inch of their bodies want to scream and escape. As tensions rise, the group became fragmented because of their strong personalities, conflicting motivations and they became pawns of a malevolent entity. The celebrities need to make difficult choices and sacrifices to survive their journey in the haunted hospital.

Movie Review: A Girl and A Guy

A Girl and A Guy is a modern tale of young adults navigating the tricky world of relationships, connection, and intimacy in today’s society. The film tells the story of a girl, the story of a guy, and the story of a girl and a guy.

A Girl and A Guy will give its viewers an in-depth look at the dynamics at play in the messy and complicated yet still fun arena of love and dating through the perspective of Fiona, an ambitious advertising production staff who has big dreams in the field of filmmaking; and Raf, a charming and laid-back marketing associate who has no plans for his future.

It is backed by Hollywood-based company XYZ Films which is the movie’s executive producer.

Movie Review: Damaso

Damaso features the story of writer Fernando Damaso (Marlo Mortel), who seeks to materialize his story to a film. At the same time, it goes back in the past, revealing that his book counterpart, Padre Damaso (Arnel Ignacio), is facing the same problems of his own. This musical-within-a-film shows how the struggles we (and the entertainment industry too) are facing today are no different from the abuse Filipinos encountered under the Spanish colonization. To have more in-depth and entertaining storytelling, the film showcases the character’s thoughts and feelings through singing and dancing.
