Kylie Padilla and Miguel Tanfelix Lead the Fight Against Cybercrime in Taskforce Firewall

 

Taskforce Firewall is the newest action-packed primetime series of GMA Network that brings intense action, thrilling cybercrime cases, and timely social awareness to television. Led by Kylie Padilla and Miguel Tanfelix, the series follows a team of cyber protectors determined to fight scammers, online crimes, and digital threats in today’s technology-driven world.

Before the mediacon officially began, the cast of Taskforce Firewall immediately impressed the media with a sneak peek of their intense action stunts, proving that GMA’s newest primetime action series is set to deliver adrenaline-packed entertainment.

Lead stars Kylie Padilla and Miguel Tanfelix showcased their action prowess in a thrilling live demonstration that felt like watching a mini action play unfold right before the audience. Their chemistry and commitment to their roles were evident as they performed physically demanding sequences that gave everyone a taste of what viewers can expect from the series.

 

During the mediacon, the cast emphasized that beyond the action and suspense, the show also carries an important advocacy — spreading awareness about cybercrime and the dangers that continue to evolve alongside modern technology. Kylie and Miguel also proudly talked about their challenging rappelling scenes featured during the pilot week of the show, revealing how much preparation and training they went through to pull off the action-packed sequences.

Produced by the GMA Network Entertainment Group, Taskforce Firewall aims to raise awareness and help prevent the growing number of cybercrimes through compelling storytelling.

The series follows a group of individuals brought together by fate and united by one mission — to become cyber protectors in a world where danger hides behind screens.

Headlining the cast is Kylie Padilla as Isa Cervantes, the disciplined strategist and heart of the Firewall team, alongside Miguel Tanfelix as Galo Villareal, a former soldier driven by personal trauma and tasked with handling cybercrime cases.

Joining them are Jak Roberto as Hex Silverio, a survivor-turned-hacker with weaponized intelligence, Kyline Alcantara as Callie Sandoval, the team’s financial expert, and Buboy Villar as Jhay-jhay Gonzaga, the Firewall’s drone and VFX specialist.

The powerhouse cast also includes veteran actors Allen Dizon, Dominic Ochoa, and Glenda Garcia, together with Rodjun Cruz, Shayne Sava, Cheska Fausto, Anna Abad Santos, John Vic De Guzman, and special participation from Yasmien Kurdi, Mark Herras, and Lexi Gonzales.

Directed by Rico Gutierrez with Associate Director Mark Kevin De Vela, the series is more than just an action-drama — it is also a movement promoting awareness, resilience, and justice in today’s digital age.

Catch Taskforce Firewall beginning May 25, airing Mondays to Fridays at 8:55 PM after The Master Cutter on GMA Prime, as well as via Kapuso Stream and GMA Play, with a delayed telecast on GTV.
