Movie Review: The Divergent Series: Allegiant

After the earth-shattering revelations of Insurgent, Tris must escape with Four and go beyond the wall enclosing Chicago. For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known. Once outside, old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless with the revelation of shocking new truths. Tris and Four must quickly decide who they can trust as a ruthless battle ignites beyond the walls of Chicago which threatens all of humanity. In order to survive, Tris will be forced to make impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love.

Allegiant doesn't reaches the level of the previous installments, having an slow first half and a plot that can be a little complicated, but its second half is filled with very good action sequences
and thrill about what is going to happen next. In a way the film still amaze me in some of its visual effects. Story rolls but it is just ok and not that great.
This is more like first part of bigger movie. Some interesting ideas and a strong moral point, but poorly delivered in a dull and predictable film with scenes which make little sense in the overall narrative. Still it was easy and fun to watch and I still liked more the Insurgent.

 My Verdict:  3/5
