Movie Review: Bang Bang Alley

Three stories of people driven to extremes as the reality of violence creeps into their lives.

So the entire 3 episode has its social relevance that needs to be watched and reflected by Filipinos.

The stories are so dark but realistic. I also like the unconventional
storytelling, treatment and screenplay of the film. I also like the lighting on the second episode. The lights and color on the second episode adds to the mood and tone of the character and the film. Among the 3 the second episode entitled Makina is the best in terms of its artistic and cinematic merits. Second is the Aso,Pusa,Daga for its powerful story, uniqueness and unexpected twist of the story. Megan Young is good in the 3rd episode supported by Ms. Perla Bautista. Gabe Mercado has justified his character in the film, may hugot at lalim ang kanyang pag arte. And Bela Padila is a natural actress on his episode supported by the award winning actors Joel Torre and Art Acuňa. So the film is not a waste of money, makabuluhan yung story and this is not your typical crime drama anthology.

My Verdict: 3/5
