Movie Review: That Kind of Love

Two imperfect people, a love coach and a conceited executive, strike a deal where she must find him a match. As they learn about each other, love blossoms between them unknowingly.
A story about two imperfect people entangled by fate because of their search for love. The Love Coach extraordinaire, who profiles and points out the flaws of a conceited man who deems himself as Mr. Perfect, ends up in a deal to find him a match. As the big-hearted Coach Milagros "Mila" Maharlika and the dashing Corporate Executive Adam De Dios set their course to learn more about each other, unknowingly, love might have already found what they are both looking for.

That Kind of Love is indeed a standout romantic comedy that beautifully showcases the dynamic chemistry between Barbie Forteza and David Licauco, who both deliver stellar performances that highlight their individual talents. Barbie embodies the quintessential romcom heroine, effortlessly blending humor and emotion, while David captures the charm of the ideal leading man that resonates with audiences. Together, they create an engaging film filled with heartwarming moments and laughter, solidifying their status as a captivating duo in modern romantic cinema.

My Verdict: 4/5
