Movie Review: Here Comes The Groom

Rodrigo Sr., his wife Salve and their children Rodrigo Jr and Blesilda are on their way to Junior's wedding in the midst of a solar eclipse and cruising on a magnetic field when their vehicle hits the van of a family of gay pageant konteseras Mama Wendy, Wanda, Winona, Whilhelmina and their trainee, Whitney when a soul swapping happens. How long will they need to stay in their swapped bodies before the next solar eclipse?

Smart, Entertaining and Funny. Here Comes The Groom is an intelligent comedy film with comedy antics and punchline in place just right in time and properly used to entertain the audience. It also got a relevant social commentary on lgbtq+ that gives additional worth of the film. Maris Racal is naturally funny and engaging in this film. She is tailor fit on her role as the babaeng bakla and just nailed it easily. Awra, where she got soul swap delivers well as a conservative woman and effortlessly funny. Enchong Dee got the finesse of KaladKaren while KaladKaren got the masculinity of Enchong. Keempee is hilariously funny and she got a lot of scene stealer in the film, and Xilhoutte surprisingly delivers as the misogynistic man. So if you just want to relax and enjoy inside the cinema, Here Comes The Groom is a perfect summer movie to watch.

My Verdict: 4/5
