Angelica Panganiban and Bea Alonzo, two of the most bankable stars in the Philippines, come together for the first time on the big screen in 'Unbreakable', Star Cinema's November movie event.
Completing the star-studded November cinematic event is Richard Gutierrez in his first drama under Star Cinema after a decade.
Ian Veneracion, Rosanna Roces and Ms. Glora Diaz add luster to the project in special roles.
The project also stars Via Antonio, PJ Endrinal, Issa Litton and two promising young stars Joao Constancia and Anthony Jennings.
Written by Vanessa Valdez and Directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, 'Unbreakable' revolves around the story of Deena Yambao (Angelica) and Mariel Salvador (Bea Alonzo) who have been best friends since college, seeing each other's ups and downs in life.
Their friendship is gradually challenged when they marry into the same family.
Will these two strong women's friendship survive tests to their friendship?
"We don't usually tackle these things but it is very relatable. It's very now," Cruz-Alviar notes. "The challenges come when comparison of marriages happen along their friendship."
While it is the two female stars' first movie team up, 'Unbreakable' marks their reunion project with the blockbuster director after the 2006 hit series 'Maging Sino Ka Man'.
"I've been a fan of her movies and I'm really happy that we already have one," says Bea to Angelica.

Meanwhile for his part, Richard, who is in the same generation of actors with the two, also treats it a tick off his bucket list.
