Digital series starring JC, Jane, McCoy streams this Saturday, February 16.
While Filipinos keep coming back to classic feel-good movies in time for love month, ABS-CBN's streaming service iWant pushes the boundary of romance and entertainment by offering a twisted love story about deranged teen couple in the original series titled Project. Feb. 14.
Streaming this Saturday (February 16) for free on iWant, Project Feb. 14 follows the love story of the two teenagers, the deliquent and wealthy Brix (McCoy De Leon) and attention-thirsty Annie (Jane Oineza).
Moonlighting as masked cyber-prostitute, Annie develops a deep friendship in the dark web with Brix, one of her customers, and decides to tell him her crazy plan - to kill herself on Valentine's Day.
When Brix suggest to join her, she decides to meet him and finally reveal her identity, and they agree on broadcasting their suicides live on social media on the day they are supposed to celebrate love.
As they spend their last two weeks living together, they encountered failed journalist Cody (JC Santos), who proposes to make a documentary outof their daily lives leading up to February 14.
Believing the documentary would make their story more popular around the world, the couple agrees, but soon realizes that they are not dealing with an ambitious journalist, but a sociopath with a disturbing agenda.
The six-episode series Project. Feb 14 is produced by Dreamscape Digital and Kamaru Productions and is written and directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, who previously helmed the movies, "To Love Somebuddy", "The Day After Valentine's" and "100 Tula Para Kay Stella".
From creating memorable teleseryes on television, ABS-CBN's production unit Dreamscape Entertainment has expanded its portfolio of original content to include digital films and series via Dreamscape Digital, which produced the trending movie "Glorious" and NashLene's reunion project "The Gift".
Watch "Project Feb. 14" for free on iWant via its iOS or Android apps or via web browser on iwant.ph starting Saturday (February 16). More subscribers can also get their own homes as they can already connect the streaming service to their TV's via Chromecast and Apple Airplay.
iWant and Dreamcape Digital are some of the digital initiatives of ABS-CBN, the Philippines' leading media and entertainment company, which is rapidly transitioning into an agile digital company with the biggest online presence among all media companies, and a growing list of digital properties.
