Movie Review: Avengers: Infinity War

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

Fantastic, engaging and emotional. Avengers: Infinity War is a movie like no other. It is definitely a movie 10 years in the making with real consequences and a badass, well-thought-out villain. Some Avengers do shine brighter than others, but all have a moment to shine. As expected, the battle scenes in this movie are amazing to watch and Thanos is definitely a highlight and stands out. The film delivers the sugar-rush of spectacle and some very amusing one-liners. Avengers: Infinity War, the biggest Marvel Cinematic Universe is essentially set-up for whatever comes next year but definitely works as big-scale entertainment.

My Verdict: 4/5
