Movie Review: Saving Sally

Marty is an aspiring comic-book artist who is secretly in love with his beautiful best friend, Sally, the gadget inventor. Like every love story, there are complications: Sally has abusive monster parents and a literal dick for a boyfriend, while Marty has the innate ability to do nothing about everything despite his vivid fantasies of defending the love of his life from the big bad world.

Saving Sally is a visual adventure with a simple story and a heart. A pretty engaging live animated that delivers thrillingly beautiful animation in service of a worthy story and visual feast. Rhian Ramos and Enzo Marcos are match made in heaven with endearing chemistry between the two. Enzo Marcos is a fine discovery in this film that whole heartedly embrace his character. It's so refreshing to see Rhian Ramos' beautiful face on screen that matches her character and make  like to save her from the villain. TJ Trinidad and the rest of the cast were also good in this film. The production values for the film are impressive with the detail for everything that are gorgeous and versatile colour palette that gives the film a natural sense of wonder.  I love the story, the script, the treatment and its soundtrack. A worthy watching feel good animated film to watch this Christmas. Beautiful movie! Loved it! One of my favorite film this year!

My Verdict: 5/5
