D8TV Launches ‘Roomies’ and ‘Boarding Haus’ — Fresh Pinoy Sitcoms for a New Generation

Television launched two weekly Pinoy comedy series, "ROOMIES (the barkada sitcom) and its sequel, “BOARDING HAUS”  via D8TV. 
 

“Roomies” pays homage to ‘90s sitcom nostalgia like "Home Along The Riles" and " Palibhasa Lalake" while injecting fresh humor for Gen Z and Millennials.  It will have its pilot episode on April 25, 7:00 PM and every Saturday thereafter. 

“Boarding Haus” is a high-energy sequel that serves as a relatable mirror to the  journey of the Filipino youth.  It premieres on April 26, 7:30 PM and every Sunday thereafter.

From NKO Films, both original series will have its Philippine Television premiere on D8TV Channel 31.7 – with NEW FACES in the cast na personal choices   ni Direk  Niokz Arcega

The two sitcoms are written by Gela Quevedo (niece of the late Uro Dela Cruz, former director of “Bubble Gang”), and directed by the twisted comedy director Niokz Arcega.
