The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has participated in the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) under the Marcos Jr. Administration and spearheaded by the office of the House Speaker on October 13-14 in Pasig City.
The attendees were from the Actors Guild PH, Production and Location Managers Guild of the Philippines, Writers, Segment Producers and Film and TV Directors of the industry.
Aimed at giving back to the Philippine creative industry, MTRCB provided services and assistance with registration processes and other essential support to almost 200 film, television and media professionals.
The Board also distributed Information and Education Campaign materials to the beneficiaries as the Agency reaffirmed its commitment to streamlining processes and fostering collaboration within the creative sector.
"At the MTRCB, we hold in high regard the invaluable contributions of every individual in the film industry. Their work is essential in shaping the values and perspectives of our youth. The Board is always here to assist our creative professionals when they need help. We want the industry to succeed. We want them to thrive," said MTRCB Chairperson and CEO Lala Sotto-Antonio.
The event served as a one-stop shop for government services, where attendees applied for services offered by Social Security System, Pag-Ibig, PhilHealth, Philippine Statistics Authority, Department of Foreign Affairs, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Department of Health, Film Development Council of the Philippines, Optical Media Board, Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas, Metro Manila Film Festival, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and the Film Academy of the Philippines.
The Board lauded this very timely initiative of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. with the help of the House of Representatives in spearheading the BPSF, which provided invaluable support to the creative industry.
