All Female K-Pop Group Lapillus Captivates Filipino Hearts Thru Their Hit Ya Pilipinas, The Lapillus Manila Tour

The first time’s the charm! Lapillus ladies brought the party to their fan meets as hundreds packed in the two-part event. Loud screams, energetic fans, and filled venues welcomed the newest six-member K-Pop girl group Lapillus in their Hit Ya Pilipinas, The Lapillus Manila Tour last September 10 and 11 in Market Market and Ayala Fairview Terraces, respectively.

Posters for the group and each Lapillus member Shana, Yue, Bessie, Seowon, Haeun, and Chanty were all over during the event, making the presence of their numerous fan groups in the country felt even prior to their arrival that they became a trending topic from the moment they landed.

Apart from games, the all-female group under Korean entertainment agency, MLD Entertainment, which brought Momoland into the spotlight, also gamely took on the question and answer segment wherein they were able to reveal bits and pieces about themselves and their experience as idols and in the Philippines.

Showing their love for the OT6 even further, fans gave them gifts and artwork, and letters to take to Korea. But the true highlight of the event, which got all the audience dancing and singing was their electric performance of their songs “Hit Ya” and “Queendom,” as well as their cover of the songs “Don’t Go Yet” by Camila Cabello and “Salamat” by Yeng Constantino.

“We were happily surprised by the welcome that our Filipino supporters have given us. They were with us in every part of the tour and it really made our first tour experience in Manila extra special,” Lapillus’ main dancer, Yue said.

The last two weeks have been hectic for the ladies as they shuttled from one event to another, from their welcome press conference, online and TV guesting, vlog collaborations, and photoshoots, their fans were with them online all the way. In fact, most fans are eager to see the ladies again soon, hopefully, for their own concert.

“I am so happy and proud to be Filipino. I’m glad that we were able to show our kind of warm welcome to my co-Lapillus members. We had so much fun here and, in fact, we are already looking forward to returning and spending more time with our supporters,” Fil-Argentinian member Chanty ended.

While their fans will surely miss them after their two-week tour, they have something to look forward to as the group’s comeback mini album titled “Gratata” is set to be released this September 22, 9PM via livestream on ABS-CBN entertainment official social media accounts
