cinema fans are in for a treat as Cinema ’76 Film Society celebrates the
country’s Independence Day with free screenings of the historical epic
films “Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo” and “Heneral Luna” on Monday, June
12. Moviegoers can catch “Heneral Luna” at 12:00pm and “Bonifacio: Ang
Unang Pangulo” at 2:00PM.
To
make this day even more meaningful, there will be back-to-back benefit
screenings of the advocacy film “Ang Araw sa Likod Mo” at 6:00PM and
8:00PM. The proceeds will be donated to HERO Foundation, Inc. Director
Dominic Nuesa and cast members Ping Medina, Bong Cabrera, Mike Liwag,
and Ian Ignacio will be present at the screening together with HERO
Foundation scholars and beneficiaries.
Movie
fans can also watch “Heneral Luna” and “Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo"
