UPDATED: MMFF 2015 First Day Box Office Ranking


According to the latest unofficial box office results for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2015 My Bebe Love #KiligPaMore topped the list of most favorite movies during the first day of the MMFF which started its showing on Christmas Day, December 25, 2015, followed closely by Beauty and The Bestie at the second spot. According to industry sources and philstar.com, as of 5 p.m. yesterday, the ranking at SM Cinemas is as follows (results in other theaters were not immediately available):



MMFF 2015 First Day Ranking

1. My Bebe Love – P29.3 million
2. Beauty and the Bestie – P26.3 million
3. Haunted Mansion – P4.1 million
4. All You Need is Pag-Ibig – P3.6 million
5. Buy Now, Die Later – P1.9 million
6. Walang Forever – P1.5 million
7. Honor Thy Father – P386,000
8. Nilalang – P299,000


In SM Megamall where we watch MMFF entries yesterday, 4 cinemas where allotted to My Bebe Love, 3 to Beauty and the Bestie including Director's Club, and 1 for those remaining entries. The cinemas for My Bebe Love and Beauty and the Bestie are always standing room only, then cinemas for Haunted Mansion and All You Need is Pag-Ibig are full house. Ranking is expected to change dramatically during the weekend run and after the Gabi Ng Parangal awards night on Dec 27.

The MMFF executive committee has yet to release an official statement on ticket sales for the festival’s opening day. On Saturday, Dec. 26, the MMFF announced the Top 4 movies based on ticket sales but refused to reveal the rankings and earnings.
