Award-winning singer Frenchie Dy proves that true artistry and resilience never fade as she celebrates her 20th year in the music industry with her first-ever major solo concert, “Here To Stay”, held at the Music Museum last October 24.
The show was a heartfelt walk down memory lane, showcasing Frenchie’s incredible journey as an artist and survivor. She opened the concert with “Raindrops Will Fall”, her winning piece from Star in a Million Season 2—the song that first introduced her powerhouse vocals to the Filipino audience.
In between her stunning performances, Frenchie sat down for a special onstage interview with Boy Abunda, where she candidly reflected on her career, her ups and downs, and her courageous battle with Bell’s Palsy—a condition she has faced three times.
In a touching gesture, a portion of the concert’s proceeds will be donated to a Bell’s Palsy patient foundation, turning her milestone event into a meaningful advocacy project.
The night was filled with powerful musical collaborations. Frenchie shared the stage with her friends OJ Mariano, Ima Castro, and Sheryn Regis, performing timeless theater pieces and memorable theme songs, including “Your Love” from Dolce Amore—where she lent her voice to the show’s soundtrack starring Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.
Adding laughter to the evening was her playful banter with comedian Atak, while her duet with Ice Seguerra melted hearts with both soulful harmonies and humorous exchanges—showing the genuine friendship between the two.

One of the concert’s highlights was a special number featuring Direk Cathy Garcia-Sampana, who joined Frenchie and her sister on stage. Direk Cathy, who manages Frenchie under NICKL Music, expressed her full support for the powerhouse singer. She even revealed that Frenchie deserves her own original song—one that was composed and performed especially for the concert.
Director Alco Guerrero of Grand Glorious Productions, who produced the show alongside CLNjK Artist Management Inc., shared that Here To Stay aimed to capture Frenchie’s versatility.
“Beyond her being a belter, we wanted to showcase her musical journey in a way that everyone can relate to—covering all genres, all emotions,” he said.
More than a celebration of two decades in the industry, Here To Stay stands as a testament to Frenchie Dy’s enduring spirit. Despite the challenges, she remains unstoppable—continuing to sing, inspire, and spread awareness through her music.
Indeed, Frenchie Dy is here to stay — stronger, braver, and more soulful than ever.
