Two years after their breakup, a Bicolano chef (Juancho) on the rise reunites with his ex- girlfriend (Zy) who is back in the province for a brief work visit. Still feeling bitter about their breakup, he tries to seduce her to ruin her engagement, only to find himself falling for her once more.
Un/Happy For You is JoshLia's best movie to date. It is daring, genuinely
poignant, and their chemistry on the big screen is unparalleled. You
can feel it immediately. This movie will make you reflect on your life
choices and how to deal with them, as well as on maturing in life. The film is a good film for closure in relationship as you can feel all the emotion and struggles of the characters. Even the supporting cast from Aljon
Mendoza, Meann Espinosa, up to Ketsup Eusebio and Nonie Buencamimo is
noteworthy and adds color to the wholeness of the film. JoshLia
chemistry is still alive and kicking in this film. The maturity of the
two, Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto, brings out the best in them portraying this emotional and heartfelt film. Un/Happy For You is a romcom that is full of emotion. Star Cinema
is back to its core for making us kilig, cry and laugh at the same
time. Its nice that we have this kind of film again back on big screen
that we miss to watch.
