Both started as young teen stars at ABS-CBN, Kit Thompson & Sue Ramirez take now their career to the next level by accepting mature roles that challenge their capability as an actor and actress.
Kit Thompson stars in the Cinemalaya 2019 full length feature film , Belle Douleur (Beautiful Pain), helmed by the direction of Joji V. Alonso. Kit plays as a young antique dealer that will meet Liz played by Mylene Dizon, a 45-year-old, single clinical psychologist, that finds herself alone and resigned to a solitary life after her parents who she spent her adult life looking after passed away. Meanwhile, Kit's character named Josh has been living on his own for years after losing his father and grandfather, and without much memory of his mother. With their loneliness drawing them together, Liz and Josh create a special bond. Kit describe the film as a bitter sweet love story with pain that needs to be embraced in life.

Cinemalaya 2019 runs from Aug 2-11 2019 at various venues of the CCP and August 7 to 13, at selected Ayala Cinemas and Vista Malls in Manila, Pampanga, Naga and Legaspi in Bicol, Bacolod, Iloilo and Davao.
Sue Ramirez on the other hand, wants to challenge herself as an actress that's why she accepted the role as a prostitute in Cuddle Weather, Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2019 official entry. Helmed by the direction of Rod Marmol, here is the logline of Cuddle Weather,
"It was love at first sound when Adela Johnson (Sue Ramirez), an experienced prostitute, met Ram (RK Bagatsing), a newbie call boy, as they had loud paid sex separately in adjacent motel rooms. Their mentor-mentee set-up seems like a dreamy porn film... until one of them begins to want more than just loveless lovemaking."
